A Clean Fuel Standard (CFS) has been proposed in Colorado as part of the GHG Roadmap which sets targets for reducing statewide greenhouse gas (GHG) pollution by 26% by 2025, 50% by 2030, and 90% by 2050 from 2005 levels. The roadmap outlines the steps the state will take to achieve these targets. The CFS has not yet been officially introduced or passed into law; as such, specifics regarding required carbon intensity reduction schedules are unavailable at this time.
