On January 13, 2026, Low-Carbon Transportation Fuel Standard legislation (S2318) was introduced after the prior version of the bill (S2425) saw no action after introduction in 2025. Like the prior year’s legislation, S2318 targets a 10% CI reduction below a 2019 baseline by 2030.
