New Jersey LCF Program Proposal (2024)

Feb 13, 2024

On January 29th, Senate Bill 2425 (SB2425), which would establish an LCF program in New Jersey, was introduced and referred to the Senate Environment and Energy Committee. This represents the first time that an LCF measure has been introduced in the New Jersey Legislature. The legislation targets a 10% CI reduction below a 2019 baseline by 2030. If passed by the full legislature, New Jersey would be the first state on the eastern seaboard to establish a clean fuel transportation standard. The 2024 New Jersey legislative session ends December 31st.
